Extracting proteins from mixtures of cells or tissues is a long standing art in the world of life science research. The PRO_PREP Kit offers you a simple, short and extraordinarily effective go-to, protocol to replace multitude of techniques. A unique cocktail of detergents, buffers and protein inhibitors specially designed and extensively tested for easy extraction or mammalian, insect or any cells without walls ... and all without degradation. The trick is performing the extraction at -20°C in a buffer that solubilizes, denatures and monomerizes proteins. The protocol takes less than 45 minutes from start to finish. Four steps later you can stably store your extracted proteins in the freezer for up to 6 months. The Pro-Prep buffer is formulated for accurate protein measurements with a Bradford assay as their is no interfering absorbance. The denatured monomers are ideal for SDS-PAGE followed by western blot analysis.
