The FavorPrepâ„¢ 96-Well Total RNA Kit is equivalent to the Qiagen 74181 & Qiagen 74182 Kits

The kit provide a high-throughput, rapid and economical method to purify total RNA from animal cultured cells and bacterial cultured cells .  RNA Binding wash and elution steps can be carried out using a vacuum manifold or a centrifuge.  The entire procedure can be completed within 40 minutes and the eluted RNA is ready to use in many different application.

How it works:

The method utilizes a chaotrophic salt to lyse cell and inactivate RNase.  The RNA is absorbed to the fibre matrix in each well of the plate.  Following washing off contaminants, the purified RNA is eluted by RNase-free water.  Salts, enzymes and unincorporated nucleotides are effectively removed from reactions mixtures without toxin phenol extraction and alcohol precipitation.
